Welcome to Hope Chapel--the Austin church with the oldest Web presence, the newest site
Hope Chapel has a new web site. Like many Austin churches, our web site is the public face to visitors and newcomers to Austin. We've been on the web so long, we have a very simple web address: www.hope.org. Whether you're a web visitor or a longtime Hopite, we think you'll agree the new website has the potential to be a valuable part of our community, with HopeMail, calendars, pictures, MP3s and sermon notes for our small groups.
Take some time and look around, and expect lots of changes and new features. We encourage you to go through the registration process and become a site member if you are a member or friend of Hope Chapel. It has its privileges.

Hope 101
Four Thursdays, at 6:00 PM: February 11, 18, 25, and March 4. Are you new to Hope Chapel and want to learn more about who we are and what we believe as a church? Hope 101 is for you! We'll have dinner together, then you'll hear about our history, vision, values, and more! Child care is provided by reservation. To sign up, or for more information, call the church office, 377-3900, or you may sign up at our Sunday morning service. |
Seek God for the City
Forty Days to Palm Sunday, February 17-March 28 Prayer Guides are now available! Join believers across the world in praying for our cities during these 40 days! This guide, produced by Waymakers, offers fresh ways to pray; each day gives you a creative way to pray God's heart from Old and New Testament Scriptures. Prayer Guides are available in the Hope Chapel foyer for the suggested donation of $1. Pick one up on Sunday! Tuesday Night Praise & Prayer
Every Tuesday, 6:30 PM in our sanctuary! Our primary focus will be prayer for Hope Chapel and our ministry efforts. But we will also ask the Lord to guide us into areas of intercession. Additionally, we will seek God for healing and minister to those in our midst. Come hungry and ready to receive from the Lord! |
Ash Wednesday Service
February 17th, 7:00 PM in our sanctuary Join us for a joint service with Christ Church, a local liturgical church in the Anglican tradition, pastored by our friends (and former Hopites) Cliff and Christine Warner. Child care will be available for Kindergarten-age and under, BY RESERVATION. Deadline to reserve child care is Friday, February 12th, 4:00 PM. To reserve child care, call the church office, 377-3900. Please include your name, number of children needing care, & their ages. |
